About the Author

George Melnyk teaches Canadian studies at the University of Calgary. His most recent book is The Wild Rose Anthology of Alberta Prose, published by the University of Calgary Press, co-edited with Tamara Palmer Seiler. He is also known for the two-volume Literary History of Alberta.
