About the Book Cross-border issues between Canada and the U.S. have increasingly become a hot-button political topic as well as a burgeoning area of study. About the Author Carol Higham is an independent scholar who currently teaches at Davidson College and the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She serves on the Executive Council of the American Association of Canadian Studies in the United States, and on the editorial board of the American Review of Canadian Studies. Robert Thacker is Professor of Canadian Studies and English and Molson Research Fellow at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. He is the former editor of the American Review of Canadian Studies.
