The Special Collections Division of The University of Calgary Library houses one of the largest archival collections of the papers of Canadian authors. This series of archival inventories, first compiled under the general editorship of the late Charles R. Steele of the university's Department of English, makes information about these holdings available. Not only are they essential tools for those who actually travel to the archives, they provide the researcher with information vital to preparation for such a visit.
