This series is a joint venture with the Latin American Research Centre at the University of Calgary (LARC) and is intended to reflect the wide range of issues with which the Centre is concerned. Since the signing of NAFTA, political and economic linkages between Canada and Latin America have increased greatly, a trend which has seen Alberta companies investing heavily in the new opportunities that have arisen. It will focus on such topics as Latin American economics, trade, and politics, as well as history, literature, and anthropology. The publications will stem mainly from conference papers and scholarly research.
