Launch of Full Spectrum: The Architecture of Jeremy Sturgess
Friday, May 7, 2010 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Nickle Arts Museum more than 250 people attended a three-pronged celebration of the career of award-winning architect Jeremy Sturgess. The event marked a key point of convergence for the University of Calgary's Libraries and Cultural Resources. It opened the Jeremy Sturgess exhibition at The Nickle Arts Museum; launched the release of Full Spectrum: The Architecture of Jeremy Sturgess, edited by Geoffrey Simmins and published by the University of Calgary Press; and announced creation of the Jeremy Sturgess Archives in the Canadian Architectural Archives. Pre and post event coverage of the celebration was excellent! To see the pictures and read the stories, click here.
